Review and Swatches: Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo COMPLETE Metal Collection (Inked in Pink, Silver Strike, Gold Rush, Barely Branded, and Electric Blue)

Maybelline Color Tattoo Metal Collection.

Yesterday I reviewed a couple of Maybelline Color Tattoos and I would like to show you the newer ones that they came out with which are called the METAL COLLECTION (which will NOT BE LIMITED EDITION).

Dare to shine 24/7.
• Ink technology creates 24HR wear shadow for our most intense, long-lasting color saturation
• Cream formula glides on without creasing and keeps color vibrant

Maybelline Color Tattoo Metal Collection.

The product is in a heavy glass jar with a black screw on lid. It's heavy and not travel friendly since it may crack but it definitely isn't cheap in any way! The sticker labels (with their names) are on the lid and you can see the shade on the bottom. It kinda bugs me that some of the sticker is slightly off centered but hey, what can we do...

All of the products have a creamy and smooth consistency which are very easy to apply to the eyelid! The only shade that wasn't opaque was Gold Rush (which applied kinda patchy but after rubbing the product, it applied sheer) BUT good news! It can be opaque with another layer since these are build-able. I've never tried the full 24 hours but they do last for a VERY long time!

-I received all 5 shades as a Christmas present from my sister Cindy!

Definitely two thumbs for the new release of their metal collection. I absolutely love the shades and they are to die for! I'm so glad that they came out with Barely Branded since I couldn't get my hands out their Limited Edition Barely Beige! These are a great drugstore product for the price and formulation of the products. I definitely still want their Limited Edition shades but it's so hard to get my hands on them (and everyone is selling them for so much $!).

Will you be picking up Maybelline Color Tattoo's Metal Collection?
Which shades are you eyeing?

Thank you so so so much for reading and commenting!

  5. So beautiful! We just got our first shipment of these babies in a week or two ago so I don't think we'll be seeing these too soon! But I know I'd want pink! But I shouldn't really...I'd much rather get a Burberry single! Omg...drools over them.! Thanks for swatching! I love the blue too but I think I have something real similar! ^^

  10. That electric Blue is STUNNING.
That gold also reminds me of Illamasqua with less density.

  15. Thanks for swatching! I greedily wanted all colors but after seeing the swatches, I think I just need silver strike and barely branded. I really wanted the pink but your swatch looks kind of bronze-y... :/

    1. Not "bronze-y" at all.. It might be your monitor settings but it's a very shimmery pink! :)

  17. Though I'm not a metallic fan, I've heard so many good things about these pots. I wish they changed up the packaging a little though... something more palatte-like, perhaps.
