Review and Swatches: Deborah Lippmann Nail Lacquer in Before He Cheats

Deborah Lippmann - Before He Cheats

A nail polish review! Haven't done one in ages so go ahead and keep on reading to see what I think about this $17 nail polish (that I got for free)!

“Let your nails sing sweetly with this pink nail lacquer from celebrity manicurist Deborah Lippmann. In a delicate crème, this long-lasting formaldehyde-free formula glides on evenly and effortlessly and dries quickly for a truly professional finish.”

It is in a square shaped bottle with intricate shapes towards the top cap and bottom base. It’s really fancy considering that it is a high-end nail polish. The name “Deborah Lippmann” is printed on the front of the bottle with a labeled sticker on the bottom (listing the name, caution sign, where it’s from, and the size). For the cap and brush it has a black handle which fits perfectly in my hands and the brush is just right to not get any excess polish than necessary.

I used 3 thin coats to make the polish opaque. I really like how quick it takes to dry and it’s very long lasting on my nails (almost a week and a half now and there is very minimal chip).

Price: $17
Size: 0.5 fl. Oz / 15 mL

I don’t own much Deborah Lippmann nail polish (about… less than 10?) so I cherish all of them since they are so darn expensive. I really love this one since it is a soft light pink with a cream finish and it looks great against my medium skin tone. It’s such a soft shade and it’s perfect for every season. I don’t own many light neutral shades so it’s nice wearing this shade once in a while.

What’s your favorite neutral shade?

List them all below because a girl with over 300+ nail polishes need more :P Hehe Thanks for reading!

  3. I lobe this polish. The name of it is kinda funny too! What did you use on your ring finger? Are they individual stones? Or a nail sticker. Cute blog by the way :)

  7. I love the shade and I love a polish that lasts. It's so hard to find good polishes that don't chip after one day. I also reviewed polishes on my Blog. Check it out if you have time:)

    1. Thanks.. Most of my nail polishes lasts for a while.. I use Deborah Lippmann, China Glaze, Butter London, Julep, Nailtini, Milani, OPI, Zoya, & more.. Make sure that you're applying thin coats.. It's better for 2-3 thin coats then 1 thick coat! Hope that I helped :)

What a lovely colour this is : ) And how cute what you did there on your ring finger, that must have taken a while! LOL I love nude/neutral shades and my favourite is Wedding Cake by NYX, it's a sheer off-white colour that looks great on many skin tones. xx
