Review and Swatch: Laura Geller Baked & Beautiful Kit

Laura Geller Baked & Beautiful Kit

Finally done writing/taking pictures for this review!!

I said that I'll be posting this review around 11 PM but it's actually 1 AM now. So sorry guys!

This post definitely won't disappoint though because there will be a lot of detailed information and pictures.

So keep on reading to see what this kit is all about! =]

Laura Geller Baked & Beautiful Kit

“My theory about all makeup is that you can wear any color, as long as you’re balanced. That’s why, when I created my Baked & Beautiful collection, my Dream Creams Lip Palette was created to coordinate perfectly with each swirl of pigment in your new Blush-n-Brighten. Use the lip colors individually, or blend two or more together. The combinations are endless, and your lips will always be in harmony with your cheeks.

Due to the unique "chameleon" effect of my exclusive Baked colors, this entire collection is really like having customized makeup - with face, cheek, eye and especially lip color designed especially for you.

$165 VALUE.

Laura Geller Baked & Beautiful Kit

Laura Geller Spackle Under Makeup Primer

It's in a clear jar with a black cap. The primer is a white jelly-like texture.

Laura Geller Balance-n-Bronze in Medium

Shiny round black compact with a half circle mirror inside. The left side is the foundation and the right side is a bronzer.

Laura Geller Blush-n-Brighten in Apricot Berry

Shiny round black compact with a half circle mirror inside. This blush has swirls of pink, purple, white, and even a golden yellow shade.

Laura Geller Eye Rimz Baked Shadow in Bewitching Bronze

Shiny round black compact with a half circle mirror inside. The baked shadow is beautiful with swirls of gold, copper, and bronze.

Laura Geller Dream Creams Lip Palette in Apricot Berry

Shiny round black compact with a half circle mirror inside. There are 4 different stripes for the 4 different shades.

I never really used a primer but I'm really loving this one. It feels very light and you don't even need to use much to cover your whole face& neck. It was very moisturizing and I didn't need to apply any moisturizer beforehand.

What a brilliant idea to split this product half and half. On the left side is the foundation & on the right side is a bronzer. I use the product as 2 separate ones, meaning that I don't blend the left and right together. The foundation really made my skin look flawless and the bronzer was great for contouring.

This baby is packed with pigmentation. I applied way too much in the beginning and decided to blend it all out with the fluffy powder brush. Go very light hand with this blush or else you'll like a clown!

This also had a lot of pigmentation and I really loved using this product wet. It really makes the color stand out. It's such a beautiful shade too. I used an eyeliner brush (by Myglam) and applied this thinly to my top lash line, which made my brown eyes pop!

I only used the 2 middle shades so far but I'm not liking how this feels. It's such a weird texture and it was hard to pick it up with the small lip brush and my fingers. This stuff kinda dried out my lips so I had to use a lip balm on top.

Laura Geller Dream Creams Lip Palette in Apricot Berry

The texture is really weird. I don't know how to describe it all. I've never owned anything like this but the shades are so gorgeous!

Laura Geller Lip Brush

A small lip brush which didn't help me out at all with applying the lip cream! But this might be perfect for applying my OCC Lip Tars!

Laura Geller Face/Cheek Brush Duo

Very fluffy brushes but looking at the stray hairs just drives me crazy. I really like using the left brush for my bronzer and the right brush for the foundation (& to blend out the bronzer).

Laura Geller Eyeliner Brush

Not feeling this as an eyeliner brush but it would be great for details (highlighting inner corner, brow bone, etc).

Laura Geller Spackle Under Makeup Primer

It appears as a white jelly-like primer but it goes on clear.

The foundation is PERFECT for my medium skin tone. It blends in really nicely and makes my skin looks so flawless! The bronzer is a beautiful slight pinkish brown.

Here is a picture of myself wearing all of the products in this kit:

1) The primer was used all over my face
2) I used the half left of Laura Geller Balance-n-Bronze in Medium all over my face and the other half right I used it as a bronzer.
3) I slightly used the blush on my cheeks.
4) I used the baked shadow as a eyeliner on my top lash line which made my brown eyes really pop. I also used Urban Decay's Underground 24/7 Liner on my lower lash line.
5) For the lips, I used the 2 middle shades a bit of lip balm on top.

I also used Benefit's High Beam and Cargo's Better-Than-Waterproof Mascara.

Wow, that was a ton of pictures and a lot of writing but I DEFINITELY LOVE THIS SET. Despite the weird texture from the lip palette & the stray hairs from the face/cheek brush duo, this kit was perfection. I suggest anyone to go pick up this set if they haven't tried Laura Geller's products. Her stuff is the B O M B. I can't wait to pick up more things from her site!!

What do you think of this kit? Do you love it, like it, hate it, or are you still on the fence?
