  1. I've heard about it for a while now, but after talking to a few people who do not live in the US I hear the myUS thing is not all that great because you need to pay additional import duty & stuff. :( Still kind of sucks :/

  2. Of course cause it is taxes after all.. Everyone must do it. Government gains from these type of tariffs.

    1. Yeah, it is, but there are other fees for using myUS as well, not just taxes. It just really sucks that they can not order things as easily from here and have it shipped there, unlike how we're able to buy something from another country, but only have to pay for shipping.

    2. But MYUS clearly states it on their website.. Haven't looked much into it but thats just how it works.. They could either a) wait for the product to come out to their country (if it ever does) b) get someone in the U.S. to send it over (which will still be expensive) c) use MYUS (dealing with whatever fees are stated on the MYUS website) or d) not get the product that they wanted..

  3. I would rather get stuff from beautybay, it's free shipping and they always get everything from urban decay in stock, just a couple of weeks after release.

  4. I had someone in the US buy stuff of the Urban Decay website for me yesterday due to the family and friends sale and it'll only be about $15 for shipping from her to me in Australia. While it's great that Urban Decay is allowing international shipping through myUS, what's happening now is that if you use any other parcel forwarder service, they'll cancel your order as "parcel forwarding services have been linked with fraud". Also, myUS only offer express shipping so if I went through them, then my shipping was estimated at $50+

I have used myUS in the past and they are very efficient but I'm not a fan because of their cost! I'm just very lucky that I have people who can buy things for me from the US and Canada.

  5. Oh yeah, I decided not to purchase from MyUS. I heard that people got seriously ripped off by the shipping fees. MyUS declared this one person's package to be $100, and she ended up paying about $40-60 in shipping fees. At that price, I might as well pay full price at sephora Canada. :/ I also ran the estimate for lets say a 10 pound package and they estimated $60. I was like heck no LOL
