Love with Food - November 2012

"Amy Roloff, star of TLC's "LittlePeople, Big World," brings you a taste of her fall favorites. From turkey and corn to pumpkin spice and chocolate, a cornucopia of delights await you. Don't forget to set an extra place at the Thanksgiving feast, because you also helped donate a meal to a hungry child!"

1. Truffle Piglet from Hagensborg Chocolates
Frolic in absolutely truffle heaven with a tidbit of pure All Natural European Chocolate bliss

MMM, this was pretty yummy! I shared it with my little sister Kimmy and we both liked it. My niece surprisingly didn't want to eat this at all.

2. Inka Corn from Inka Crops
Harvested from non-GMO crops, this roasted giant corn is great for snacking while watching Turkey Day football.

Can you say HUUUUGE?!?! These corns were gigantic! Too salty for my taste (and for my little sister Kimmy) but I guess when there's football there are drinks like beer and soda so it would've been perfect together.

3. Chocolate Chunk Cookie from Skeeter Snacks
Totally nut-free and loaded with hunks of chocolate, this cookie is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Made in a completely nut-free facility, too!

I ate this with my niece and sister. When my sister took her first bite she said, "UGH ARE THERE NUTS IN HERE?!" It definitely had a nutty scent/taste so that was weird. My little niece ended up eating both of these cookies but it was a mess because it was very crumbly.

4. Mango Pear Pineapple from Fruit.o
100% organic fruit with no added sugar or preservatives, this squeezable snack is delicious on its own or as an ingredient in recipes.

This sounds really yummy! Can't wait to try it ;)

5. Mini Crunch from Mrs. May's
These bite-sized roasted almond and fruit crunches are tasty salad toppers.

Sounds really tasty! I'll probably eat it alone and not as salad toppers :P I really like Mrs. May's products so hopefully it doesn't disappoint!

6. Turkey Bak Kwa Jerky from Little Red Dot Kitchen
Recently featured in Food & Wine Magazine, this moist and tender jerky has an Asian Twist.

I haven't tried this yet but I would really wanna see what this "Asian Twist" is all about!

7. Original Mulling Spices Blend from the Aspen Mulling Co.
For festive sipping, stir into hot or cold apple cider. Creative cooks can sprinkle on hot oatmeal or blending with pancake batter.

This sounds delicious. I wanna try this with baking! Hopefully it tastes and smells divine!

8. Pumpkin Spice Tea from Stash Tea Company
Pumpkin Pie in a cup! This unique dessert tea features naturally decaffeinated black tea with luscious nutmeg, cinnamon, and ginger.

Really sounds good because I LOVE PUMPKIN PIE, not so much tea but I'm so willing to give this a try.

9. Bhakti Chai
This fiery chai is micro-brewed with organic fresh pressed ginger. Taste for yourself, with a special discount, at lovewithfood.com/shop

We have to buy this ourselves with the "SPECIAL DISCOUNT".. I don't think that I am but they gave me a sticker. I'm gonna give this to my niece since she has a huge obsession with putting stickers all over her body hahaha

Here are other little information cards that were in the box this month:

Referral System

Ecomom card

Pic Plum card

So that was all for Love with Food's November box. It really was a "Thanksgiving" theme filled with pumpkin, corn, chocolate and so much more. This is my 2nd month getting a box from them and I have 1 more month to go. Love with Food is $10/month but I got a 3 month subscription for $7. To be honest, I really love the contents in the boxes but I don't think that I will be continuing after my 3 month subscription ends.

What do you think of this month's box?

    2. They totally are! I hate salt haha. And I can't have corn nuts anymore for the foreseeable future because I've developed a corn allergy on top of my gluten intolerance. Worst stomach/body ever.
