Review and Swatch: L'Oreal Infallible 24 HR Eye Shadow ("The Original 12 Shades")

Hello there!
L’Oreal came out with these eye shadows a long time ago but I never had the chance to review them until now.
The eye shadows that I will be reviewing are “the main original 12” that they came out with.
L’Oreal now has 6 more added into this collection and a couple of Limited Editions for the Holidays.
Come check out my review on L’Oreal Infallible Eye shadow!

It comes in a durable plastic container with a lid that you can screw on or off. There is also a “flattener” that is on top of the shadow which you are NOT SUPPOSE TO THROW AWAY (I believe that it’s suppose to keep the product from drying out). The packaging is really nice for a drugstore product and well worth every penny.

This product was very smooth and creamy with great pigmentation AND minimal fallout. You can either use your finger or brush to apply this eye shadow. This lasts for a really long time (even without primer) and it definitely doesn’t disappoint me one single bit.

Endless Pearl – Matte Beige
Iced Latte – Shimmery Beige
Eternal Sunshine – Light Yellow Gold
Amber Rush – Orange Copper

Bronzed Taupe – Medium Brown
Continuous Cocoa – Matte Dark Brown
Golden Sage – Olive Green
Perpetual Purple – Medium/Dark Purple

Infinite Sky – Light Sky Blue
Midnight Blue – Dark Blue w/ Black Base
Sultry Smoke – Matte Gray (w/ a tiny hint of blue)
Eternal Black – Matte Black w/ Glitter

Original Retail: $7.49
Size: 0.12 oz

These were “the original 12 shades” that they came out with but I haven’t had the chance to pick up the newer ones (which I will soon, hopefully!). I really love these and I think that they’re a great drugstore product at an amazing price. You can find deals on these for buy 1 get ½ off so it isn’t that expensive. It has a great formula which makes it long lasting and pigmented. I really love these eye shadows a lot and I can’t express it through my review. I definitely would suggest some of you guys to pick a couple up (if you haven’t tried it yet). I’ll be reviewing more when I pick more up and I’ll also be reviewing the Maybelline Color Tattoos soon. I apologize for the lack of drugstore reviews and I will try my best to review more of them.

The other 6 brand new shades (NOT limited edition) are:
-Liquid Diamond
-Golden Emerald
-Endless Sea
-Glistening Garnet
-Bottomless Java
-Smoldering Plum

There are also a couple new limited edition ones for the Holiday but I haven’t looked around much for them.

Have you tried any of L’Oreal’s Infallible Eye Shadows yet?
If so, what do you think about them and what is your favorite shade so far?

As always, thank you so much for reading!

  4. I have 2 of these and I love them. I have Iced Latte and Amber Rush. I really really want the limited edition Blinged and Brilliant one but I won't be home until the 1st of January. Hopefully they'll still be in drugstores then! The only thing that annoys me slightly about these is the fall out is a bit annoying.

  10. In the UK they are really expensive, around £6.99 which is around $9/10.

    Great swatches!
Can you recommend some drugstore Matte eyeshadows?
