Review and Swatches: Studio Gear's Hydrating CC Cream in Natural

Hydrating CC Cream transforms and enhances your complexion in an incredibly light, smooth formula. This foundation simultaneously fights aging, retains moisture, and covers and treats blemishes with a non-oily, perfectly radiant finish.

Key Benefits:

Protects:  SPF 20 protects the skin, while Hydra-Extend technology provides moisture for up to 72 hours.

Perfects:  Enjoy natural looking coverage while micro-encapsulated pigments perfects and fade dark spots and acne scarring.

Corrects:  Anti-aging and collagen building ingredients help minimize fine lines and wrinkles.

Hydrates:  Hydra-Extend technology provides up to 72 hours of continuous hydration.

Conceals:  Micro encapsulated pigments deliver a fresh dose of color that adapts to your own skin tone, creating the most natural looking coverage.

Smoothes:  Skin nourishing ingredients help to correct and maintain youthful complexion.

The CC cream is packaged in a simple, clean, sleek, plastic squeezable tube. There is no mess left on the cap and it doesn't take up a lot of space.

I use my clean fingers to apply the CC cream all over my face. Then I use a beauty blender to make sure that everything is well blended. The CC cream leaves a slight tacky feeling on my face so I just finish it off with a translucent setting powder.

Studio Gear's Hydrating CC Cream comes in 3 different shades - Linen, Natural, and Wheat. I received the shade in natural.

It comes out gray but it adjusts to the skin tone really nicely.

This product is light weight and has an oil-free formula. It's great for everyday wear since it has light to medium coverage, SPF 20, and it evens out the skin tone really nicely. I've been using it mostly everyday since it looks very natural.

Even though this product works really well on my skin it has a couple of negative drawback. When the product is applied to my face there is a slight tacky texture. It's a quick fix with some setting powder so I really don't mind. The only thing that bugs me the most would have to be the scent. It's too overpowering (note: I'm not sensitive to this type of stuff).

Studio Gear doesn't test of animals and you can find them online at their website or Ulta. This is a sponsored post and the product was provided to me - all thanks to Brand Backer and Studio Gear!

I would highly recommend this product for people that doesn't need much coverage for their skin. I really love this product and it's a great everyday base.

  • It protects my skin since it has SPF 20.
  • It perfects my skin and makes it look very natural.
  • It doesn't correct my fine lines much.
  • It is a very hydrating cc cream.
  • It does a semi-good job with concealing but nothing heavy duty.
  • And lastly, it smoothes my skin and just gives it an overall healthy look.

So this product is definitely a two thumbs up; minus the horrid smell!
