I always love Urban Decay’s packaging because they always
go all out. The lipstick’s cap is clear with beautiful purple designs of skull,
flowers, and swirls. The lipstick is held by a purple tube which can be twisted
on the top portion. On the bottom, there is a dagger which adds an awesome
touch to packaging. There is also a dagger and their name engraved on their lipstick!

It’s very easy to apply the lipstick since it was so
smooth and pigmented. I was expecting it to feel a bit rough since there were a lot of
shimmers in it but it didn’t even feel gritty at all. These lipsticks lasted
around 4 hours with eating and drinking. These were also moisturizing and it
didn’t dry out my lips one bit.

I really love this shade even though it has a frosty finish. I thought that I wasn’t going
to like this one since I saw how shimmery it was but it wasn’t overpowering at
all. It’s moisturizing, smooth and very easy to apply. I’m glad that I got this
on sale because I don’t think that I would cash out $22 for a lipstick. But to
think about it, I probably would since I love Urban Decay.
Have you tried Urban Decay’s lipstick?
My first lipstick that I tried out from them was
Revolution.. which I got a couple of months ago (review coming soon).
So pretty! I really wanted to pick one up to try when I saw the $3 sale, since I usually favour darker shades but I hesitated (since I didn't want to pay shipping) and they sold out before I could :(

DeleteMy boy just facepalms when I go on my makeup binges haha. It's crazy how low some of their prices get! Just saw your post, love the swatches! I hope it lasts until the sale, I remember one of the more colourful sets being around for months so the cheapo in me is holding me back for now.
Deleteyeah some of their sets go pretty inexpensive.. i'm unsure if ocho loco would go low though.. i think that the smoked pencil set will go on sale in a year
DeleteYeah, it would probably be sold out instantly even if they just dropped the price by $5 in the first wave of sales haha. I wouldn't say no to the Smoked set (or palette) either, I love darker makeup! UD is such a $ sink but it's so worth it.

I have a $10 off $40 to beauty.com and I'm unsure if I should pick it up still.. But i definitely want it (not need)! So worth it though considering the value of it. Are you eyeing anything else? :)
Deleteyeah, the value of it even full priced is insane. I've revamped my dictionary for want and need to mean the same thing lately haha. I'd pretty much like to try more of their lipsticks and dark eyeshadows. I love every shade in the Black Palette!

DeleteI saw this when I was placing my order, I like the color, however I can't do shimmery lipsticks. I just ordered two more today, the sale is awesome.

ReplyDeleteIt's very sturdy! Hmmm, idk.. Whenever I wear a lipstain or lipstick I don't bring it with me.. >.< but if i did, i would definitely put it in a makeup bag then my regular bag :)
