What's up guys! It's that time of month again AND yes I haven't been posting any of my Ipsy bags.. I know, shame on me... right?! Anyways, I'm gonna try to update you guys with more and more things so hang on there! Keep on reading to see what I think about this month's bag...
The pink bag is see through which is cute but it is wrinkly (which I'm not too fond of that) but nonetheless a great bag for the price of the subscription!
“This BH Cosmetics makeup palette includes a shade from each
of the California Collection palettes: Hollywood, San Francisco, and Malibu.”

It came in 3 gorgeous shades; Hollywood
(purple), San Francisco (brown w/ golden shimmer), and Malibu (golden yellow)
but where is the pigmentation? It really lacked in that area unless I really
pack it on and use a good primer. In the swatches, I didn’t use a primer so you
can really tell the pigmentation of the product. It’s nice but I have other
shadows that works like a charm (I’m eyeing you, Urban Decay!).
In the eye look, I’m using San Francisco on the lids and blending it in my crease; Hollywood on outer lower lash line and Malibu in the inner lower lash line. Nothing unique but I should’ve cleaned up the fall out! Yikes!!
POP Beauty – Pouty Pop
Crayon in Coral Crush
“POP's Pouty Pop Crayon nourishes, treats, and adds that
perfectly-plumped pop to lips. These extra-nourishing balms gently bounce onto
lips creating a plumped & pillowy pout leaving them with luscious,
long-lasting colour with a super-smooth texture. Available in six shades.
Following shades available in the ipsy Glam Bag: Rose Romance, Coral Crush, and Fuchsia Flirt.”

I’m not in love with this product as much as
I thought I would be. I love jumbo pencils whether it’s for the eyes or lips
but I found this one to be quite dry. The product drags when I apply it and it
just isn’t nourishing. I received it in
Coral Crush but I would describe it as a pinkish red. Did I mention it kinda
accentuates the dry skin on my lips even if I have a tiny bit? Yuck! Not
impressed at all.
COOLA – Mineral Face
SPF 20 Unscented Moisturizer
“Keep the sun and environment at bay with this SPF 20
broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen; a clear, Titanium Dioxide based formula (for
those who are Zinc sensitive) made with 98% natural ingredients. Organic Acai
Oil - high in Omegas-3/6/9, Vitamins B1/2/3, plus antioxidant Vitamins C and E
- delivers a powerful defense against aging. Organic Sunflower Seed Extract
promotes elasticity while organic Linseed Oil, containing Alpha-Linolenic
Acids, reduces redness and irritation. The phyto-protector Plankton Extract
rejuvenates, as organic Cucumber Extract calms skin.
This sunscreen is hypoallergenic, paraben-free, ultra sheer, anti-aging, and water resistant for 40 minutes.”

I’m all about moisturizers with SPF and I’m glad that
this one was unscented. I really like it and I do want to purchase another one
but I can’t justify it right now since I’m using an Origins moisturizer with
SPF. Anyways, this one is a thumbs up! Use products with SPF to protect your
gorgeous skin! Cover up and be safe ;]
Sexy Hair – Soy
Renewal Beach Spray Conditioning & Texturizing Spray
“Creates beachy undone texture that looks and feels like
you’ve spent a day at the beach. Contains argan oil which helps nourish,
protect and heal hair damage.”

I’m really not a fan of beach sprays
but I tried it out anyways. It has a slight powdery feel but it isn’t too bad.
I just use it right when I get out of the shower and kinda scrunch my hair with
it. I’m not a fan of that look but I guess that I can use it on days when I
feel extremely lazy.

This is a gorgeous orangey red nail polish shade. It can be
opaque in one coat (I did that for my tips) or in two if you’re doing your
whole nail. Something about this nail polish makes me really love it and I keep
on staring at my nails (maybe because it truly compliments my skin tone).
Anyways, the nail polish lasts for a long time which is great and I will
definitely be keeping this one.
Ipsy is just $10 a month and it’s EXTREMELY worth it (in
my honest opinion). If you want to join this beauty/makeup subscription then

This month was awesome and I really enjoyed some of the
products. I love the nail polish and moisturizer the most and the other items
were okay. Overall, it’s a good subscription for just $10 and I have no
complaints here!
What
was inside your July bag?!
Thank you so much for reading!
Wow, I wish we had ipsy here, i'm reallly impressed with the amount of goodies in this bag!
ReplyDeleteHopefully they expand to AU soon! The shipping will be like crazy tho x) a great bag for just $10! thanks for commenting <3
DeleteWow, the Pop Beauty Crayon really lives up to its name: a crayon!! XD too bad it's not moisturising despite its claims!
ReplyDeleteI think the colours of the BH cosmetics sample palette are pretty, even though the pigmentation's not all there, it's still not bad looking I think.
Ipsy's really stepped up their game, if they can manage to do free shipping worldwide (lol I doubt it) without lost packages, they'd be number 1, definitely :3
Love how you take your photos! So clear!
yesss! i love jumbo lip pencils :P i also don't think that it's bad considering it's just $10... hehe maybe one day D; & thank you so much! i use my dslr (canon t3i)

Leslie xoxo
yeah I'll do one when I get the chance :D thank you so much for reading and commenting!
Deleteooh that Pouty Pop Crayon looks lush and I am loving the shade as well but your review doesn't sound good. I prefer lipsticks to have some form of moisturising to it as I get dry lips. x
ReplyDeleteEXACTLY! we need something to moisturize NOT accentuate ;D
