OCC Lip Tar in Harlot |
Do you know what the definition of Harlot is?
Go look it up!
[P.S. it's a prostitute.]
"A stunning new innovation in lip color, OCC Lip Tar combines the longevity of a lipstick, with the ease of application of a gloss. Goes on slick and moist, and dries down to a satin finish. Ultra-saturated in color, Lip Tar contains an unprecedented amount of pigment - a little goes a very, very long way! An intense yet featherweight layer of color that never looks or feels heavy. Meant to be mixed, Lip Tar comes in concise array of colors for a limitless selection of shades made by you! A simple, elegant formula that contains Hemp Oil, Peppermint Oil and Vitamin E, OCC Lip Tar feels as good on the lips as it looks!"
Planning to replace that stupid sticker >.< |
The Lip Tars are in a squeezable MATTE tube with a long, skinny narrowed nozzle. The old packaging use to be a slant tip applicator but I guess that it was too messy (since people applied it right off the tube!!!) so they changed it.
I like to use a brush with mine; I know that some people like applying these right off the tube but it's so messy that way. Patience is definitely a key when applying these things to your lips. You can also use a lip liner and maybe a lip balm if you find it a bit drying.
Using Real Techniques' Accent Brush |
This wasn't as drying as Queen so that was definitely a big plus. I apply this product by using my Real Techniques' accent brush. A little product goes a long way so start off with only a little bit and add more and more until it's just right for you.

Why in the world would OCC name a Lip Tar Harlot? >.< Anyways, I found this NOT drying like Queen but the application was the same with the brush. I really love this shade because I like the BAM, OUT OF YOUR FACE shades because I think that my lips are one of my best facial features. I really love these things and I want to pick up more. Here is a picture of me (below) wearing Harlot.
What do you think? Are you loving this shade? Do you prefer nude/neutrals or bright shades?
Thanks for reading <3>3>
